Hindustan Zinc beats estimates, FY25 Profit Soars 33% to US$ 1,224 million with record production

The company recorded its ever-highest annual production ofmined and refined metal of 1,095 KT and 1,052 KTrespectively. The company delivered robust financials withFY25 revenue soaring 18% YoY toUS$ 4,031 million. Hindustan Zinc also registered a robustFY25 EBITDA ofUS$ 2,066 million, up 28% YoYwith an industry leadingmargin of c.51%, up 400 bps YoY. The company delivered robustfull year profit after tax ofUS$ 1,224 million, up 33% YoY driven by 4-year lowest zinc cost of production atUS$ 1,052/MT.Hindustan Zinc recorded thehighest-ever Return on Capital Employed^ of 58%, best in the industry.In FY25, Hindustan Zinc generated strongFree Cash Flow from operations (pre-capex) ofUS$ 1,630 million.In FY25, Hindustan Zinc deliveredtotal shareholder returns of c.68%and ranks among theTop 3 companies inIndia'sNifty Metal Indexwith amarket capitalization ofUS$ 23 billion.
