Young Thaileaders selected for Model APEC final after high‑level national simulation

BANGKOK,Sept. 10, 2025/PRNewswire/ -- This year 30 outstanding delegates fromBangkokUniversity,Chulalongkorn University,Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and others gathered at Bangkok University International for the Model APEC 2025 national conference to simulate the Asia‑Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and debate policy solutions for the region. The conference concluded with the selection of six outstanding delegates who will representThailandat the Model APEC final inBeijinglater this year.

Engaging the next generation

During the simulation at Bangkok University International, delegates assumed the roles of APEC economy representatives and negotiated on themes such as digital transformation, sustainable development, inclusive trade and empowering women in the workforce.

The event was organised by the Model APEC Thailand under Hotwave Media Thailand which is a leading company and incubate many youth oriented marketing projects with universities and enterprises together. This time Hotwave Media invited Yadea and UGREEN together to empower the regional youth to promote their participation and awareness of economic participation.

Competitive selection and international representation

After several rounds of discussion and drafting, judges shortlisted candidates based on policy analysis, collaboration, public speaking and leadership. At the close of the conference, six students were announced as the national delegation to the Model APEC final inBeijingand awarded with Yadea's high technology E-bikes and UGREEN trending products. They will join counterparts to presentThailand'sproposals and continue honing their skills.
