According to Billboard’s chart update dated February 7, music from Netflix’s animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters remains a strong presence on the Hot 100, while HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE and Japan-based group XG mark new milestones on the Billboard 200.

‘Golden’ Maintains Top-Tier Hot 100 Position

The virtual girl group HUNTR/X, featured in K-Pop Demon Hunters, continues its remarkable run on the Hot 100. The group’s track ‘Golden’ held steady at No. 4 for a second consecutive week, extending its total chart run to 32 weeks.

Another song from the film’s original soundtrack, ‘How It’s Done,’ climbed seven spots to No. 59, marking another week in which two tracks from the OST charted simultaneously on the Hot 100. The soundtrack itself ranked No. 8 on the Billboard 200, also entering its 32nd week on the chart. The sustained performance follows ‘Golden’’s recent win at the 68th Grammy Awards for Best Song Written for Visual Media the first Grammy win for a K-pop track and its nomination for Best Original Song at the upcoming Academy Awards.

KATSEYE Extend Chart Presence After Grammy Spotlight

HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE also maintained a strong showing. Their single ‘Gabriela’ ranked No. 29 on the Hot 100, while newer track ‘Internet Girl’ placed at No. 80. The two songs have now charted for 28 weeks and four weeks, respectively.

KATSEYE’s second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ landed at No. 56 on the Billboard 200, extending its chart run to 31 consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, the group’s debut EP ‘SIS’ re-entered the chart at No. 138, jumping 56 spots from the previous week. The results follow KATSEYE’s recent Grammy nominations and performance, which introduced the group to a wider mainstream audience.

XG Reach New Billboard 200 Peak

Japanese group XG achieved a personal best on the Billboard 200 with their first full-length album ‘THE CORE – 核,’ debuting at No. 93. This marks their second appearance on the chart and their highest ranking to date, following a previous peak of No. 175 with mini album ‘AWE.’ XG becomes the sixth Japanese act in history to enter the Billboard 200 Top 100, joining a list that includes Kyū Sakamoto.

Elsewhere, ENHYPEN’s mini album ‘THE SIN : VANISH,’ which debuted at No. 2 last week, dropped to No. 21 in its second week. Stray Kids’ ‘SKZ IT TAPE ‘DO IT’’ placed at No. 88, marking its 10th consecutive week on the Billboard 200.

Rookie group ILLIT also saw renewed attention, with ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ re-entering the Bubbling Under Hot 100 at No. 21 following viral traction on social media.
