Zico and Crush Release ‘Yin and Yang’ Remix Featuring Dean and Penomeco

A FANXY CHILD Reunion

The remix marks a notable reunion for FANXY CHILD, the hip-hop and R&B crew formed in 2016. The collective includes Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic, and Staytuned, and has been known for blending sharp rap with melodic R&B textures.

While Zico and Crush led the original release of ‘Yin and Yang’ last month, the remix expands the track’s dynamic by incorporating Dean and Penomeco’s distinct musical colors. It is the group’s first collaborative release in approximately six years and six months, following their 2019 single ‘Y.’

A New Take on a Familiar Track

According to the agency, the remix differentiates itself from the original through a denser beat structure, newly added segments, and a balance between pointed rap verses and smoother vocal lines. Rather than simply reworking the instrumental, the track introduces fresh transitions designed to highlight the chemistry among the four artists.

The result is intended to reflect the collective’s shared musical history while allowing each member’s individual style to stand out.

Ongoing Activities

Beyond the remix release, Zico remains active in television, currently appearing as a producer on Mnet’s ‘Show Me the Money 12.’ Crush continues to focus on music projects and collaborations, maintaining his presence across both hip-hop and R&B scenes.

With the ‘Yin and Yang’ remix, FANXY CHILD reconnects after years apart, offering longtime fans a rare moment of reunion while introducing the collective’s synergy to newer listeners.
