Agency Confirms Criminal Complaints Filed

On February 5, her agency Sublime released an official statement detailing the ongoing legal process. According to the agency, Hyeri has been subjected to repeated online abuse, including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information.

Sublime stated that it has filed criminal complaints on two separate occasions between 2024 and 2025, targeting those who posted or shared illegal content related to Hyeri online. “Multiple suspects have been identified, and the cases have been transferred to the relevant police stations,” the agency said. “Some of these cases, involving charges such as insult and defamation, have already been forwarded to prosecutors.”

“No Leniency or Settlements”

The agency emphasized that it will maintain a strict, zero-tolerance approach moving forward. “We will continue to monitor online platforms and collect evidence,” Sublime added. “If illegal activity is confirmed, legal action will be taken without prior notice. There will be no settlements or leniency under any circumstances.”

The statement made clear that the goal is not only to protect Hyeri, but also to discourage repeated online harassment through decisive legal measures.

Upcoming Projects Remain on Track

Despite the situation, Hyeri continues to focus on her professional activities. She is set to appear in Netflix’s variety series ‘Mystery Investigation Unit’ Season 2, scheduled for release later this month.

She is also preparing to return to scripted television with ENA’s upcoming Monday–Tuesday drama ‘Dream to You’, slated to air later this year.
