As anticipation builds for BTS’s upcoming comeback performance in Seoul, fans are preparing a large-scale show of support for Jungkook, transforming central Gwanghwamun into a sea of digital tributes next month.

Ahead of BTS’s comeback concert scheduled for March 21 in Gwanghwamun, Jungkook-focused support advertisements will be displayed across three major digital billboards in the Gwanghwamun and Cheonggyecheon areas. The project is being organized by Jungkook’s domestic fan community, Jungkook Supporters.
According to Jungkook Supporters’ official X (formerly Twitter) account, the advertisements will run from March 19 to 21 on LumiMedia’s massive digital billboard located in the heart of Gwanghwamun. The screen measures 22.2 meters wide and 30.5 meters high, making it one of the largest outdoor digital displays in the area. The ad is scheduled to appear more than 70 times per day, ensuring high visibility throughout the three-day period as fans and pedestrians gather near the historic district.

On March 21, the day of BTS’s comeback performance, the scale will expand further. Two additional digital media billboards installed at the Cheonggye Korea Building, a high-traffic zone near Cheonggye Plaza, will showcase Jungkook’s comeback support messages over 100 times per day.
The concentrated placement and frequent exposure are designed to amplify excitement surrounding the performance while underscoring the intensity of fan participation leading up to the event.
This is not the first time Jungkook Supporters have drawn attention for large-scale fan-driven projects. Last year, the group marked Jungkook’s birthday by wrapping the entire main staircase of Yongsan I’Park Mall, covering 249 square meters in a full-scale visual display.
They also took over eight digital taxi shelter screens in front of the mall’s T-Square four standard panels and four panoramic displays turning the surrounding area into what fans described as a “Jungkook wave.”
With BTS set to reunite on stage in Gwanghwamun, the upcoming fan advertisements add another layer to the sense of occasion surrounding the comeback. Rather than focusing on a single day, the multi-day campaign frames the performance as a shared celebration between artist and fans.
