Kim Hye-yoon is continuing her unstoppable run, and her next project is already drawing attention a Korean drama adaptation of Keigo Higashino’s beloved novel The Miracles of the Namiya General Store, with Lee Chae-min also in talks to join the cast.

According to an exclusive industry report, the Korean version of The Miracles of the Namiya General Store is currently in development as a drama series, expected to run for approximately 10 episodes. The production team is actively finalizing casting and discussing a potential release through a global OTT platform.

Originally written by renowned Japanese author Keigo Higashino, the story follows a mysterious general store where letters from the past and present intersect. When a group of intruders unexpectedly respond to anonymous letters asking for life advice, they find themselves drawn into a chain of emotional connections and quiet miracles that transcend time.

The novel has enjoyed long-lasting popularity in Korea, remaining a bestseller for years. It has previously been adapted into films in Japan and China and was also staged as a theatrical production in Korea in 2018, making this upcoming drama adaptation one of the most anticipated reinterpretations yet.

Kim Hye‑yoon is set to take on the lead role, further solidifying her status as one of the most in-demand actresses of her generation.
