SHINee’s Onew is building momentum for his upcoming solo return with a special pop-up store celebrating the release of his fifth mini album, TOUGH LOVE.

According to his agency, the “ONEW 5TH EP ‘TOUGH LOVE’ POP-UP STORE” will be held from March 8 to March 15 at Yeonghwa 104 in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The event begins just one day before the official album release on March 9 at 6 p.m. KST, positioning the pop-up as both a preview and celebration of his new era.
The pop-up store is designed to reflect the emotional tone and visual aesthetic of TOUGH LOVE. Organizers plan to fill the space with curated visual objects and installations inspired by the album’s themes, creating an environment that allows fans to experience the project beyond the music itself.
Dedicated areas will include a photo zone, message zone, and interactive event zone. These spaces are expected to encourage fans to actively participate whether by taking commemorative photos, leaving personal messages, or engaging in exclusive on-site activities connected to the album’s concept.
By blending visual storytelling with physical interaction, the pop-up aims to deepen fans’ connection to Onew’s evolving solo identity.
Pre-orders for TOUGH LOVE began on February 11 across major music retailers. The album will be released in four distinct versions: BOOK, NOTE, POCKET BOOK, and TOWEL BOOK editions.
Each version offers different packaging and components, emphasizing collectability and concept variation. Notably, the TOWEL BOOK edition is a collaboration with towel brand Floppy and will be available in pink and green color options adding a lifestyle-inspired dimension to the release.
TOUGH LOVE is described as an album that further expands Onew’s personal musical universe. Known for his warm tone and emotional delivery, Onew is expected to explore different facets of love from vulnerability to resilience through this new project.
With album reservations underway and the pop-up store announcement fueling excitement, Onew’s March comeback is steadily shaping into one of the season’s most anticipated solo releases.
