Rising K-pop group KiiiKiii has been selected for the prestigious NME 100, marking them as one of the most promising global acts to watch in 2026.

On February 12, British music outlet NME unveiled its annual list, The NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists for 2026, highlighting 100 breakthrough artists tipped for international impact. KiiiKiii secured a spot on the influential roundup, which is curated by global critics and music journalists and widely regarded as an early indicator of future worldwide success.
NME praised KiiiKiii for their distinctive identity and musical direction since debuting last year. “KiiiKiii have showcased striking individuality since their debut,” the publication noted. “Blending Gen Z sensibilities with nostalgic influences, they deliver joy amid the noise of everyday life.”
The outlet specifically referenced their debut track “I Do ME” and the 80s-inspired synth-pop single “Dancing Alone,” highlighting the group’s ability to channel retro textures into contemporary pop appeal.
Their critical recognition isn’t new. At the end of last year, NME also included “Dancing Alone” in its list of The 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025, further affirming the group’s growing artistic credibility.
KiiiKiii’s momentum has only accelerated in 2026. The group released their second mini album, Delulu Pack, on January 26, led by title track “404 (New Era).” The song quickly surged across domestic and global streaming platforms.
As of February 12, “404” continues to hold the No. 1 position on Melon’s Top 100 chart. It also topped Melon’s Hot 100 and secured the No. 1 spot on the platform’s weekly popularity ranking. The track has dominated YouTube Music’s daily and weekly Korean charts, Apple Music’s Top 100 Korea, and multiple major domestic streaming services including Spotify Korea, Bugs, Vibe, and Flo.
On music shows, the group claimed first place on Show! Champion and earned their first terrestrial broadcast trophy on Show! Music Core, marking a significant milestone early in the year.
Beyond NME, U.S.-based outlet Stardust recently named KiiiKiii among “10 Rookie Acts to Watch in 2026.” They were also listed among the top six K-pop debut acts in Google’s 2025 year-end data analysis. With international media recognition aligning with strong domestic chart performance, KiiiKiii appears poised for a defining year ahead.
The group is set to perform “404 (New Era)” on Mnet’s M Countdown later today, continuing their promotional run as 2026’s breakout trajectory unfolds.
