According to a recent interview with Billboard Brasil, Lee Junho is stepping into a defining phase of his career, one where acting, music, and entrepreneurship increasingly intersect. Known globally for his work in K-dramas and as a member of 2PM, Junho is now navigating a broader creative path that extends beyond the screen.
Lee Junho recently returned to Netflix with Cashero, a series released in late December that offers a fresh twist on the superhero genre. In the show, he plays an ordinary public servant who unexpectedly gains superhuman strength tied to the amount of money he carries.
Speaking to Billboard Brasil, Junho explained that what draws him to a project is not its scale, but whether it offers a story or character he has not explored before. He shared that he needs an instinctive pull toward a role in order to fully commit to it, something he describes as difficult to explain, but essential to his creative process.

In 2025, Junho also gained attention for his role in Typhoon Family, another Netflix series that highlighted a different side of his acting range. Over the years, he has built a diverse filmography that includes romantic dramas like King the Land and emotionally driven works such as Just Between Lovers.
At this stage of his career, Junho says he is interested in revisiting romantic comedies or melodramas that allow him to portray younger, emotionally expressive characters. At the same time, he is open to action roles that emphasize grit and masculinity. Looking further ahead, he has also expressed interest in historical epics later in life, particularly as he approaches his forties.
Reflecting on the realities of global fame, Junho acknowledged how quickly attention can rise and fade in the digital era. In his Billboard Brasil interview, he noted that while reaching a worldwide audience has become easier than ever, staying remembered is equally challenging.
Rather than chasing trends, he says his focus remains on his core disciplines of acting and music. For him, success is defined by creating work that resonates with people. If someone discovers his project or music and feels glad they found it, that, he believes, is meaningful success.

Beyond performing, Lee Junho has also stepped into the role of entrepreneur. In August last year, he founded his own company, O3 Collective, a creative label built around originality and strong artistic identity.
He explained that the idea behind the company came from a belief that impactful content can only be created when artists and staff collaborate as equals, each taking responsibility for their work. While he is currently the sole artist under the label, Junho emphasized that O3 Collective is not meant to be a one person agency. He hopes to eventually work alongside other artists who share the same creative values and vision.
Asked about the transition from being solely an artist to also thinking like a creative leader, Junho credited his long career with 2PM for preparing him. Years of producing albums, composing music, writing lyrics, and directing performances helped shape the mindset that led him to establish his own agency.
Now, with a wider creative scope, he hopes to participate in future projects not only as an actor, but as a creator involved in shaping concepts from a broader perspective. His goal is to build an environment where artists’ emotions are respected and innovative ideas can grow into reality.
As Lee Junho continues to evolve, his career reflects a shift toward long term creative ownership, where performance, leadership, and vision move forward together.
