EXO’s Kai has shared his thoughts on which fellow member he would most like to invite onto SBS’s new variety show ‘No, But Seriously!’, pointing to Chanyeol as his top pick due to a noticeable change in the rapper’s sense of humor.

On February 2, an online production presentation was held for SBS’s upcoming entertainment program ‘No, But Seriously!’ . The event was attended by cast members Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Soo-ji, and Kai, who spoke candidly about the show and their experiences. During the press event, Kai was asked whether he had received support from his EXO bandmates ahead of his appearance on the program. He responded with laughter, saying that the members had shown “almost no reaction” when he mentioned the show.
Lee Soo-ji jokingly asked if Kai might not be telling them about his schedules properly, to which Kai playfully replied, “Why didn’t they react?” He went on to explain that rather than detailed advice, the members tend to offer simple encouragement due to their busy schedules. “It’s more like, ‘You’ve got a lot going on, so hang in there,’” he said, adding that he planned to send them a message after the event.
When asked which EXO member he would most like to invite as a guest, Kai immediately named Chanyeol. He explained that Chanyeol has become noticeably funnier in recent years, surprising even longtime fans.
“He wasn’t really that funny before,” Kai said with a smile, “but these days, he’s become really funny, and he seems much more relaxed.” Kai added that if Chanyeol were to appear on the show and incorporate acting into his performance, he believes it would be especially entertaining. His comments sparked interest among fans, many of whom are eager to see more EXO members appear together on variety programs.

‘No, But Seriously!’ is described as a new-style “character talk show” that blends traditional conversation with fictional world-building and character-driven concepts offering a format unlike typical talk shows. The program aims to create humor and insight by placing guests into playful narrative settings rather than standard interview structures.
