IVE Becomes the Only Girl Group in IFPI Global Album Sales Top 10

IVE has once again proven its global power, securing a historic position on one of the music industry’s most important international charts.

According to Starship Entertainment, the group placed No. 9 with IVE EMPATHY and No. 20 with IVE SECRET on the 2025 IFPI Global Album Sales Chart, marking their third consecutive year on the ranking. Among all girl groups worldwide, IVE was the only act to enter the Top 10, highlighting their exceptional physical sales and global demand.

A Global Chart That Measures Real Sales

The IFPI Global Album Sales Chart is widely regarded as a key indicator of worldwide popularity because it combines physical album sales and digital download numbers across all major markets.
IVE’s repeated presence on the chart demonstrates not just momentary hype, but consistent international buying power.

Over the past three years, the group has placed five different albums on the ranking, showing steady growth with each comeback.

The Albums Behind the Milestone

Released in February last year, IVE EMPATHY centered on themes of connection and togetherness.
Its pre-release track “REBEL HEART” achieved a Perfect All-Kill on Korean charts and earned 11 music show trophies, while the title track “ATTITUDE” added four more wins.

Their August release, IVE SECRET, explored emotions hidden behind glamour.
The title track “XOXZ” gained renewed popularity through a chart reversal and collected five music show victories, while the album entered multiple Billboard rankings, including the World Albums and Top Album Sales charts.

Million-Seller Momentum and World Tour Expansion

Since the success of “LOVE DIVE” in 2022, every IVE release has surpassed one million copies, giving them seven consecutive million-selling albums.
On the performance side, the group has continued to build a strong live reputation, including two consecutive appearances at Lollapalooza and the expansion of their second world tour “SHOW WHAT I AM” to overseas cities.

A New Era Begins Today

IVE is set to continue that momentum with the release of their second full-length album REVIVE+.
The pre-release track “BANG BANG” has already entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 6, raising expectations for the title track “BLACKHOLE.”
