Actress Park Min-young shared the intense preparation behind her dramatic new role in tvN’s upcoming series Siren’s Kiss (세이렌), revealing a striking physical and emotional transformation to portray the character’s fragile psychology.
During the online production presentation held on February 23, Park Min-young appeared alongside director Kim Cheol-kyu and co-stars Wi Ha-joon and Kim Jung-hyun to talk about her comeback project following Marry My Husband.
She admitted that taking on Siren’s Kiss was not an easy decision.
“People joke that I’m ‘tvN’s daughter,’ but it wasn’t about the network. I was drawn to the script for a long time. I’ve never played a fatal, genre-heavy role before, so I wondered if I could really express this woman’s psychology. I actually turned it down at first, but then decided to challenge myself.”
