IVE returns as a fully adult group with bold new visuals for 2nd full album REVIVE+

IVE has officially entered a new era.
At the showcase for their second full-length album REVIVE+, the group emphasized a major milestone all six members are now adults and revealed that this comeback focuses on a completely refreshed visual identity and expanded storytelling.

“All members are adults now”

The showcase was held on February 23 at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, where the members highlighted their transition into a new phase.

Leeseo, who recently turned 20, said:

“All of us are now adults. Please look forward to IVE as a fully adult group.”

Jang Wonyoung added that instead of following a fixed beauty formula, the group chose:

“more interesting and new visuals that only IVE can pull off.”

First full album in 2 years and 10 months

REVIVE+ marks IVE’s first full-length release since I’VE IVE in April 2023 — a gap of 2 years and 10 months.

Rather than a simple reset, the album represents a “re-ignition” of their identity.

While IVE’s previous narrative centered on a confident “I,” this project expands the perspective to “we,” exploring:

  • connection
  • relationships
  • growth with the public

and signaling their ambition to move in multiple new directions from their current position.

Title track ‘Black Hole’ delivers cinematic scale

The title song “Black Hole” is a shuffle-based track with a cinematic atmosphere and immersive sound design.

Through the imagery of a black hole where extinction and creation coexist the group expresses their current state and transformation.

Leader An Yujin described the track as:

“a song that reminds you of the film Interstellar. It has a different charm from the pre-release ‘BANG BANG,’ and you’ll be able to feel the scale.”

A defining moment for IVE’s next chapter

With a more mature visual direction, a broader narrative, and a long-awaited full album, this comeback marks one of the most important turning points in IVE’s career.
