ENA’s new Monday–Tuesday drama Climax has unveiled a striking couple poster featuring Ju Ji-hoon and Ha Ji-won, offering a first look at the emotionally charged relationship that will anchor the series.
Climax follows elite prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, a man who steps into a dangerous alliance of influence and power in order to reach the very top. The drama explores how figures from politics, business and the entertainment world become entangled in a high-stakes struggle where personal desire and survival collide.
At the center of that story is Tae-seop’s complex connection with Chu Sang-ah, played by Ha Ji-won, a character who stands beside him yet moves according to her own goals.

The newly released poster places the two characters in the same visual space while subtly emphasizing their emotional distance.
Bang Tae-seop looks straight ahead with an unwavering expression, projecting determination and control. Chu Sang-ah also faces forward, but the slight difference in their gaze creates the feeling that they are heading toward separate endings despite sharing the same relationship.
The tagline, which suggests that each will pursue their own desired outcome, hints at a marriage defined not only by emotion but also by calculation and choice.
A line of flames cutting across the image heightens the tension, symbolizing both desire and the decisive moments that could change their lives.

The drama positions the two leads as people protecting different priorities while remaining bound together. Their dynamic is expected to move beyond a simple romantic arc, becoming a psychological battle where affection and ambition coexist.
Viewers are particularly anticipating the layered performances of Ju Ji-hoon and Ha Ji-won, whose subtle emotional acting is likely to deepen the sense of conflict and aftertaste within the story.

The cast also includes Nana, Oh Jung-se and Cha Joo-young, each bringing a distinct presence that adds weight to the narrative’s web of interests.
With production handled by Hive Media Corp and direction by Lee Ji-won, known for detailed character work, the series is drawing attention for its potential to deliver a tightly constructed genre drama.

Climax will premiere on March 16 at 10 p.m. KST on ENA. The drama will also be available through KT Genie TV and Disney+, expanding its reach to global audiences.
As the first promotional materials begin to reveal the characters’ emotional fault lines, the couple poster alone signals that Climax will be driven as much by internal conflict as by external power struggles.
