Actor Seo In-guk shared warm praise for co-star Jisoo during the press conference for Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy series ‘Boyfriend On Demand.’
The production presentation was held on February 26 at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Seoul, attended by director Kim Jung-sik, Jisoo, and Seo In-guk.

‘Monthly Boyfriend’ follows Mirae (played by Jisoo), a webtoon producer exhausted by reality who turns to a virtual dating simulation service where she can “subscribe” to different boyfriends and experience romance in a digital world.
Explaining why he chose the project, Seo In-guk said, “The universe of the story was incredibly intriguing. The idea of entering a virtual world itself felt fresh.”
He added that the blend of fantasy elements, CG-heavy backgrounds, and distinct character themes made the drama stand out. “I personally love fantasy, games, webtoons, and animation,” he said. “The concept of experiencing another world beyond reality felt very appealing.”
Seo In-guk plays Mirae’s colleague, known in the office as a capable and efficient employee. “On the outside, he may seem cold almost robotic as if he draws clear lines with people,” Seo explained. “But inside, he’s very considerate and detailed. He’s just not good at expressing emotions.” He hinted that viewers will see how the character gradually changes through his interactions with Mirae.
Speaking about working with Jisoo for the first time, Seo In-guk described the experience positively. “She’s much funnier and more humorous than I expected,” he said. “The set would start with laughter and end with laughter.”
He continued, “I was very happy filming this project. She has such a lovable charm. The Mirae I saw in the script was lovely, but the Mirae Jisoo portrayed felt even more lovable someone you just want to hug.”
‘Boyfriend On Demand’ is set to premiere globally on Netflix on March 6.
