Hwasa is set to take the stage at one of the world’s largest music festivals. On February 27, her agency P Nation announced that the singer has been officially invited to perform at ‘Rock in Rio 2026’, which will be held this September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

‘Rock in Rio’ is widely regarded as one of the biggest and most influential music festivals in the world. Since its launch in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, the festival has drawn millions of attendees and expanded internationally to cities including Lisbon, Madrid, and Las Vegas.
Over the years, global icons such as Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, and Beyoncé have performed on its stages. For the 2026 edition, artists including Elton John and Maroon 5 are part of the lineup, while Stray Kids are also set to appear as the first K-pop group headliner.
Hwasa is scheduled to perform on September 11 at Rio’s Olympic Park, joining an audience of international music fans.
Known for her distinctive vocal tone and outstanding stage presence, Hwasa is expected to deliver a performance that reflects her reputation as a powerful solo artist.
Her anticipated setlist includes major solo hits such as ‘twit,’ ‘Maria,’ and ‘I Love My Body,’ as well as her recent release ‘Good Goodbye,’ which has drawn strong attention from listeners. Earlier this year, Hwasa held her first solo concert, ‘MI CASA,’ further solidifying her identity as a seasoned performer with over a decade of experience in the industry.
With her upcoming appearance at ‘Rock in Rio 2026,’ Hwasa continues to broaden her global reach reinforcing her position as one of K-pop’s leading solo artists on the international stage.
