Rookie K-pop girl group UNIS has taken another major step in its fast-rising global career with its first-ever movie OST.
The eight-member group released “Pinky Lady” at midnight on February 27 as part of the soundtrack for the upcoming Japanese film Specials. The track is now available on major global streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music, as well as Korean music sites.
“Pinky Lady” marks UNIS’ first participation in a movie soundtrack since debut, expanding the group’s musical portfolio beyond album releases and tours.
The song was composed and produced by Lee Changmin of 2AM, known for his work as a vocalist and sound producer. His bright and polished production blends with UNIS’ signature refreshing vocals, creating an energetic track that enhances the film’s lively atmosphere.
Anticipation had already been high among Japanese fans after the group was confirmed as the OST artist. The release further strengthens UNIS’ presence in one of K-pop’s most important overseas markets.

Specials tells the story of five assassins who are unexpectedly tasked with winning a dance competition, combining action, comedy, and performance.
The film has drawn early attention for its cross-industry casting, featuring Snow Man’s Daisuke Sakuma and NCT 127’s Yuta, bringing together major names from J-pop and K-pop.
With UNIS joining the project through the soundtrack, the film gains additional appeal among global K-pop fans.
The OST release comes as UNIS continues its first North American tour, 2026 UNIS 1ST TOUR: Ever Last.
The group has successfully completed concerts across 13 cities, from Philadelphia to Mexico City, and will wrap up the tour in Los Angeles. The timing highlights the group’s rapid international expansion across music, live performances, and now film.

From global touring to a movie OST, UNIS is steadily building a multi-platform career early in its journey.
“Pinky Lady” not only introduces the group to new audiences through cinema but also signals their growing influence in both the K-pop and international entertainment markets.
As their global activities continue, the group is positioning itself as one of the most closely watched rookies of the new generation.
