At the time, the producer was traveling through Daegu, searching for new talent. After spending nearly a week visiting different locations without success, she was exhausted and close to giving up.

As a last attempt, she stopped by an old local academy. Staff members told her there were no suitable young trainees available, but she asked if she could at least look through event photos from the academy.

That’s when she spotted one particular photo.

In the image, V wasn’t dancing or performing. He was simply standing there, smiling.
