Jennie Shares Her Favorite Places in Seoul at Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week Show

BLACKPINK’s Jennie did more than attend one of fashion’s most prestigious shows in Paris she also gave fans a glimpse into the places she loves most in Seoul.

During an interview at the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week, the K-pop star was asked about her favorite spots to hangout in Seoul, and she enthusiastically recommended several locations that reflect the city’s charm, food and traditions. When asked about the best neighborhood in Seoul, Jennie immediately named Seongbuk-dong. “Seongbuk-dong. You should definitely look it up,” she said.

Jennie explained that the area offers a mix of experiences, from great restaurants to scenic walking spots, adding that it’s also simply a beautiful place to enjoy the view as Seongbuk-dong is known in Seoul for its quiet streets, cultural landmarks, and hillside scenery overlooking the city.

Restaurant Recommendation

When asked about favourite food spots Jennie also shared her pick for a must visit restaurant when you travel around in Seoul. Her choice was Negi Live, a restaurant known for its seafood focused omakase dining experience. “If you like seafood, you should definitely go there,” she said, praising the restaurant’s menu.

Jennie’s favourite spot to relax however was the classic traditional Korean sauna Jjimjilbang, explaining that even though these bathhouses are similar to saunas they offer a unique Korean relaxation experience. For outdoor relaxation, Jennie recommended any area around the Han River, one of Seoul’s most popular places for walking, biking, and spending time with friends.

While Jennie is often recognized for her fashion presence at global events like Paris Fashion Week, moments like this show another side of the artist. For many fans watching the interview, it was a reminder that even on the world’s biggest fashion stage, Jennie still enjoys talking about the city she calls home.
