Fans of the beloved K-drama “Yumi’s Cells” finally have something to celebrate. Actress Kim Go Eun is officially returning as Yumi in the highly anticipated Season 3, which will premiere in April.
TVING confirmed the news on March 11 by unveiling the drama’s first teaser poster, signaling the return of one of Korea’s most unique and beloved romance series.

“Yumi’s Cells” first captured viewers’ hearts with its innovative storytelling format. The series became widely known as Korea’s first drama to combine live-action scenes with 3D animation, bringing Yumi’s inner thoughts to life through adorable “cells” that control her emotions.
The creative concept quickly turned the show into a fan favorite, with audiences praising both its relatable storytelling and its charming animated characters.
Now, three years after the previous season, the story is finally continuing.

In Season 3, Yumi has grown into a successful star writer. However, her seemingly calm daily life is disrupted when an unexpected person suddenly enters her world.
The new season promises to once again explore Yumi’s emotional journey through love, laughter, and personal growth. As always, her expressive cells will return to guide viewers through every moment of her feelings.
The teaser poster released alongside the announcement features Yumi’s bright and lovable smile, reminding fans why the character has remained so popular.
The poster also includes the line:
“Long time no see. That soft, fluttering feeling in my heart.”
The phrase hints that Yumi’s emotional “cell village” is about to become lively again with a brand new story.
“Yumi’s Cells Season 3” will premiere April 13 on TVING, with two episodes released every Monday at 6 PM.
The drama will also air on tvN, broadcasting one episode every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
