The announcement was made by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on March 10, when the organization revealed the official performance lineup for this year’s ceremony. The upcoming stage will go beyond a traditional live performance. Organizers revealed that the special showcase will incorporate traditional Korean instruments and dance, reflecting the cultural inspirations that shaped K-pop Demon Hunters.
According to executive producer Raj Kapoor, the performance will feature Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the vocalists behind the fictional girl group Huntrix from the Netflix animated film.
