P Nation’s First Girl Group Baby DONT Cry Returns With A New Concept

Rookie K-pop group Baby DONT Cry is kicking off their 2026 activities with a bold new concept that has fans hooked. The P Nation girl group has released their pre release track “Shapeshifter” offering fans a colorful and energetic preview of their upcoming mini album.

A New Era

The track features dynamic guitar riffs and dreamy synth sounds, creating a tense yet refreshing atmosphere. Its lyrics highlight the group’s determination to break free from expectations and continuously evolve, reflecting the meaning behind the title “Shapeshifter.” Fans noticed the kitsch inspired concept and they have been spreading love to the upcoming release writing comments such as “this song already sounds so good” and “SOOOO EXCITED” under the Instagram posts.

Expectations for the track were already high thanks to its production team. Renowned lyricist Kim Eana contributed to the lyrics, while hit producer Ryan Jhun participated in composing the track.

Baby DONT Cry, consisting of Lee Hyun, Kumi, Mia, and Beni, debuted in June last year as the first girl group launched by Psy’s agency P Nation. Since then, they have gained attention for blending chic visuals with confident energy, gradually building their fanbase with bold performances and strong stage presence.

Following the release of “Shapeshifter,” the group will officially return with their first mini album ‘AFTER CRY’ on March 24, marking their first album release in about four months since their previous digital single “I DON’T CARE”
