Another Sign of Their Global Impact

The Japan Gold Disc Awards determine winners based on sales performance of albums, videos, and music releases in Japan during the previous year.

This means Stray Kids’ wins reflect not only popularity but also strong commercial success in the Japanese market.

With high-quality albums and diverse content, the group continues to strengthen its reputation as one of K-pop’s leading global acts.

A Record-Breaking Year for Stray Kids

The Japan achievement follows an already historic run for the group internationally.

In 2025, Stray Kids made Billboard history by scoring eight consecutive No.1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart.

They also performed strongly on the IFPI Global Charts, where their fourth studio album “KARMA” ranked:

  • No.2 on the Global Album Sales Chart (the highest among K-pop artists)
  • Inside the Top 10 on the Global Artist Chart
  • Inside the Top 10 on the Global Album Chart

Notably, they were the only K-pop artist to appear in the Top 10 of those global rankings.
