The long awaited I.O.I upcoming 10th anniversary reunion has been gaining a lot of attention and excitement by fans however recently there seems to be confusion circulating online after a surprising discovery involving the group’s official account.
Recently, I.O.I opened a new account to promote their long awaited reunion project and upcoming comeback activities. However, fans quickly noticed something unusual in the account’s following list. Although I.O.I debuted as an 11 member group, the official account is currently following only 10 members leaving member Kang Mina out.

The account seems to follow every member on Instagram except Kang Mina. This sparked discussion among fans on social media people being curious and confused wondering what is happening. The fans are more confused since even though some members cannot attend the reunion such as Zhou Jieqiong (Joo Kyulkyung), they are still followed by account. So fans are wondering why is it that only Kang Mina is not being followed by the official account.

This inconsistency has led fans to question whether the omission was intentional or simply an oversight. As the discovery quickly spread across social media fans began expressing confusion and concern. Many comments questioned why Mina appeared to be the only member not followed by the official account. “Whats going on. Someone explain” is what fans commented on X (formerly twitter) demanding explanations.
Despite the confusion, anticipation remains high for the group’s 10th anniversary reunion project, which will include a comeback album and a concert tour. The reunion marks the first large scale I.O.I project in nearly a decade since the group concluded activities in 2017. However, it has already been confirmed that not all members will participate in the reunion, with scheduling conflicts and agency differences affecting some artists.
Still, fans are eagerly awaiting the group’s return while hoping for clarification about the social media situation that has sparked unexpected debate among the fandom.
