ITZY’s “That’s A No No” Goes Viral Again—Group Announces Special Music Show Stage

ITZY is bringing one of its fan favorite tracks back to the spotlight after the song unexpectedly surged in popularity years after its release thanks to social media.

The resurgence began during ITZY’s third world tour ‘TUNNEL VISION’, which kicked off earlier this year.

During the concert, the group performed “That’s A No No” live for the first time, delivering a high energy choreography that quickly captured fans’ attention. Clips from the performance began circulating online, with the addictive beat and powerful dance routine helping the song gain new traction across social media platforms.

The viral buzz translated into streaming numbers.

A full performance video released by JYP Entertainment last month has continued to gain views online, reaching over 3.6 million views on YouTube and even topping the platform’s daily trending music video chart in Korea. The track has also climbed the Melon daily chart, jumping from No. 961 on March 2 to No. 191 by March 11, an unusual “reverse chart” moment for a six year old song.

The trend has also spread throughout the K-pop community.

Artists including TWICE’s Momo and Jihyo, NEXZ’s Tomoya, and KickFlip’s Kyunghoon and Keiju have participated in the viral “That’s A No No” dance challenge.

Even JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young joined the fun, posting a short video featuring the challenge on Instagram with the caption:
“Why do I suddenly feel like dancing?”

With the renewed popularity of the track, ITZY’s upcoming special stage on M Countdown is expected to further fuel the song’s viral momentum. Meanwhile, member Yuna is preparing to debut as a solo artist with her first album “Ice Cream” set for release on March 23.

As “That’s A No No” continues its surprising comeback moment, ITZY is proving that even years old songs can find a new life in the K-pop world.
