Want to Explore Seoul With BTS? The “Arirang” Pop-Up Is Opening Soon

When BTS releases a new album, fans expect music, performances, and visuals. This time, the group is going one step further by creating an immersive space where fans can experience the concept of their upcoming album in person.

A special event titled “BTS POP-UP: ARIRANG” will open in Seoul, giving fans a chance to explore the group’s new era through exhibitions, interactive installations, and exclusive merchandise.

Where and When the Pop-Up Will Take Place

The pop-up will run from March 20 to April 12 at two locations in Seoul:

  • HYBE Headquarters in Yongsan
  • Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch – The Heritage

To manage visitor flow, reservations will be required. Advance booking begins on Weverse at 5 PM on March 13, and the event period will be divided into three reservation phases to ensure a smoother experience for visitors.

A Space Designed Around BTS’s New Album

The pop-up is built around the concept of BTS’s upcoming album “Arirang.”

The exhibition aims to reinterpret traditional Korean aesthetics in a modern way, reflecting the message and artistic direction behind the new record.

Visitors entering the space will first encounter a large installation inspired by the album title “Arirang,” along with a floor design featuring the Big Dipper constellation. Around the installation, concept photos, LP displays, and physical album visuals will showcase the album’s themes.

Interactive Experiences for Fans

At the Shinsegae venue, fans will be able to participate in several interactive programs connected to the album’s concept.

One of the highlights is “ARIRANG MEARI,” an experiential activity where visitors select a word representing their identity and roll it across a table. The movement and sound of the objects create an immersive audio-visual experience.

Another digital activity titled “What Is Your Love Song?” allows visitors to create their own graphic images based on the album’s tracklist.

Meanwhile, the pop-up store located on the first floor of the HYBE building will feature designs inspired by the album’s core concept.

Special Merchandise Inspired by Korean Heritage

The pop-up will also include an exhibition of the “Arirang” album along with official merchandise.

One collection expected to attract attention is a collaboration with MU:DS, a brand by the National Museum Foundation of Korea. The products reinterpret traditional patterns and decorations found in real historical artifacts, blending Korean heritage with contemporary design.

Why This Album Is Already a Major Moment

The excitement surrounding the pop-up is closely tied to the upcoming album itself.

“Arirang,” scheduled for release on March 20 at 1 PM, will mark BTS’s first full-length album in approximately six years and one month.

The album will feature 14 tracks and is being overseen by HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk, who served as the executive producer.

For many fans, the pop-up offers the first physical glimpse into what BTS describes as “the BTS of today.”

And judging by the early interest in reservations, ARMY members are already preparing to experience this new chapter together.
