Fans are always looking forward to new releases from their favourite artists however few artists have released songs while serving in the military.

Hoshi is giving fans a new surprise during his service releasing a romantic solo track titled “Baby, Honey” on March 14 at 6 p.m. KST, according to his agency PLEDIS Entertainment. “Baby, Honey” is described as a romantic love song that captures the fluttering emotions of two people gradually falling for each other.
The track pairs minimal beats with a delicate melody, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. The title itself carries a playful nuance in Korean, “agijagi” can be used as a cute nickname similar to “baby” or “honey.”
Hoshi was directly involved in writing and composing the track.
The lyrics convey a promise between two people: even if their schedules or timing briefly fall out of sync, they will still choose to share the present moment together. For fans, the message feels especially meaningful given the singer’s current situation while serving in the military.

Hoshi enlisted as an active duty soldier in the South Korean Army on September 16, 2025. Before beginning his service, the SEVENTEEN performer prepared several surprises for fans. On the day he enlisted, he also released the solo song “Take a Shot,” leaving behind music for CARATs during his absence.
“Honey, Baby” continues that tradition a reminder that even while away, Hoshi is still thinking about his fans.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN are currently continuing their “NEW” world tour, with concerts scheduled at Bangkok National Stadium on March 14 and 15.
