When the flowers bloom, the world turns to BTS V. In a massive global poll conducted by Forbes Korea and the K-pop content platform Mnet Plus, V (Kim Taehyung) emerged as the definitive voice of the season, securing the top spot on the official “Spring Playlist.”
The results are staggering not just for the numbers, but for what they represent: a global consensus on the emotional power of V’s unique musicality.

Out of a total of 1.06 million votes cast by fans worldwide, V claimed 1st place with 39.5% (421,581 votes). The competition was fierce, featuring the industry’s top performers:
| Rank | Artist | Vote Percentage |
| 1 | BTS V | 39.5% |
| 2 | Tomorrow X Together | 39.0% |
| 3 | BOYNEXTDOOR | 6.1% |
| 4 | Cortiz | 5.3% |
| 5 | BTS Jimin | 3.0% |
V’s selection as the “Voice of Spring” is deeply rooted in his soulful discography. While K-pop often focuses on high-energy tracks, V has carved out his own genre—a blend of 1970s soul, jazz, and R&B.

The poll results coincide with the massive success of the BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ in Goyang (April 9–12), where 132,000 fans witnessed V’s legendary stage presence.
V is currently establishing a big impact in a category we might call “Modern Nostalgia.” His branding isn’t built on following trends, but on inviting listeners into his personal, jazz-influenced world.
From a strategic perspective, V’s 1st place finish on the Spring Playlist proves that he has successfully transitioned from a member of a global group to a solo artist whose voice is a standalone brand. People choose V for spring because his baritone vocals offer the same warmth and renewal as the season itself.
