TXT’s Yeonjun is expanding his influence beyond music once again, this time through one of luxury fashion’s most closely watched houses.

On April 27, Miu Miu announced that Yeonjun had been selected as the brand’s Friend of the House, a title given to partners who share the label’s aesthetic vision and help communicate its values through their own distinct identity and style. What makes the appointment stand out even more is that Yeonjun is being introduced as the first-ever Friend of the House for Miu Miu, adding extra weight to the announcement.
For Yeonjun, the partnership feels both personal and significant. He said he has long admired and been interested in Miu Miu, and described the new role as exciting and meaningful. He also expressed anticipation for the journey ahead, saying he hopes to express the brand’s free-spirited and bold energy in his own way.
The appointment does not come out of nowhere.
Yeonjun has been steadily building a strong reputation in fashion through his distinctive styling, visuals, and confidence across different concepts. That relationship with Miu Miu became especially visible in March, when he made a surprise appearance as a model at the brand’s FW26 show in Paris.
The moment quickly became a major talking point, not only because of the buzz surrounding the show itself, but because Yeonjun became the first male K-pop artist to walk the runway for the brand. That appearance already hinted that his connection with Miu Miu was growing beyond a one-time fashion event.
Now, with the official Friend of the House title, that relationship has clearly entered a more formal and visible phase.

What makes Yeonjun a strong match for Miu Miu is the same thing that has kept him at the center of so many fashion conversations: he does not wear clothes passively.
Whether on stage, at events, or in editorial settings, he tends to bring a clear sense of character to what he wears. There is a natural balance in his image between polish and boldness, which fits well with a brand that often plays with youthfulness, confidence, and unconventional detail.
That is likely why this partnership feels believable rather than purely promotional. Yeonjun already looked at ease within the brand’s world before the title was made official.
The announcement also arrives at a busy and highly visible moment in Yeonjun’s career.
TXT recently released their eighth mini album, 7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped Briefly in the Thorn Bush, on April 13. The project reached No. 3 on Billboard 200 dated May 2, while the title track “Stick With You” earned the group five music show trophies, completing a domestic promotional sweep.
That matters because it places Yeonjun’s fashion move inside a much larger moment of career expansion. He is not stepping into fashion as a side story during a quiet period. He is doing it while TXT are actively performing at a high level, which only adds to the sense of momentum around him.
Yeonjun is also set to broaden his fashion-related activities further through television.
In May, he will appear on tvN’s Kill It: Style Creator War, where he is expected to take on a mentor-style role in helping discover the next generation of fashion creators. That adds another layer to his public image, positioning him not just as someone who wears fashion well, but as someone increasingly trusted within that space.
Taken together, the runway appearance, the Miu Miu appointment, and his upcoming TV role suggest that Yeonjun’s fashion presence is no longer just an extension of idol styling.
