Kim Seon-ho Says Dino “Impressed” Him

“I wish I could have been there for every moment with them,” Kim said during the event held in Seoul. “But because of my schedule, the guests came and helped out instead.”

Then came the unexpected compliment. “They were honestly much better than me,” he said with a laugh.

Kim Seon-ho especially highlighted Dino’s energy and sincerity while filming. “They always smiled while working, and they were really good at making coffee,” he shared. “Dino came more than once, and I remember being genuinely moved by how well he did.”

The comments quickly drew attention online, especially among fans of both Kim Seon-ho and SEVENTEEN, with many praising the wholesome atmosphere of the upcoming program.

What Is ‘Bonjour Bakery’?

‘Bonjour Bakery’ is a healing-style baking variety show set in the country’s first fictional “senior dessert café” located in a quiet rural village. The program follows bakery staff members and elderly customers as they share stories, comfort, warmth, and homemade desserts together. Rather than focusing on competition or chaos, the show is being positioned as a slower, emotionally driven variety series centered on connection and healing.

The cast includes Kim Hee-ae, Cha Seung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Lee Ki-taek, with various celebrity guests appearing as temporary café workers throughout the series.

Why Fans Are Excited

The combination of veteran actors, warm countryside aesthetics, and idol guest appearances is already generating strong anticipation online.

For many viewers, Kim Seon-ho’s comments about Dino became one of the event’s most talked-about moments because they reinforced the gentle and comforting tone the show seems to be aiming for.

In an entertainment landscape dominated by survival programs and fast-paced variety formats, ‘Bonjour Bakery’ appears to be offering something softer: a show about people, warmth, and simple human connection.

The series premieres on May 8 at 4 p.m. KST on Coupang Play.
