The “Golden Maknae” of BTS, Jungkook, has once again paralyzed the fashion world with a display of raw charisma and artistic authenticity. On May 11, Harper’s Bazaar Korea unveiled six distinct cover images for its June 2026 issue, capturing Jungkook in a series of sophisticated visuals that highlight his evolution into a global style icon.
In the newly released covers, Jungkook commands the lens with a defiant gaze and a relaxed, confident aura. Most notably, the pictorial features a bold display of his tattoos, seamlessly blending his personal identity with high-fashion aesthetics. This “unfiltered” approach has already ignited a massive response across global social media platforms, reaffirming his status as the industry’s premier visual powerhouse.

During the accompanying interview, Jungkook shared his candid thoughts on the “BTS World Tour: ARIRANG,” which kicked off last month in Goyang. Marking the group’s first full-scale world tour in four years, the artist described the experience as a surreal transition between realities.
“It had been so long since our last concert, and because we poured our hearts and souls into the preparation, I didn’t feel particularly nervous or worried,” Jungkook reflected. “However, it felt like I had stepped into another world for a brief moment. Now, I’m spending sleepless nights filled with excitement at the thought of traveling and meeting audiences all around the globe.”

When asked about his most authentic self, Jungkook’s answer was rooted in the energy of the live stage. “I definitely feel most like myself when I am dancing and singing while listening to the cheers of the audience,” he confessed. “Even when my throat is sore and I’m drenched in sweat—when it’s a total ‘mess’ on stage—that is actually when I feel the most alive.”
Since the release of their 5th regular album, “ARIRANG,” in March, BTS has reclaimed their throne at the top of the music industry. Following successful promotions for their title track “SWIM,” the group is currently navigating a grueling but historic world tour. Their next major stop is the United States, where they are scheduled to perform at the Stanford Stadium in San Francisco from May 16 to 19.
