Jang Wonyoung and Ji Chang-wook’s ‘AAA 2026’ Sells Out Early-Bird Tickets Ahead of Taiwan Ceremony

The 2026 Asia Artist Awards is already proving its global pull months before the ceremony begins.

Early-bird tickets for AAA 2026 have officially sold out, signaling strong fan demand for the annual awards show that brings together major names from K-pop, K-drama, and Asian entertainment. The Asia Artist Awards 2026 will be held on December 5 and 6 at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. This year’s ceremony is drawing attention not only for its overseas location, but also for its first confirmed hosts: IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and actor Ji Chang-wook.

AAA 2026 Early-Bird Tickets Sell Out Quickly

According to the AAA Organizing Committee, early-bird tickets for the ceremony sold out after going on sale through tixCraft.

The early-bird sale opened on May 31 at 4 p.m. local time and ran until 11:59 p.m. local time. In Korean time, the sale took place from 5 p.m. on May 31 to 12:59 a.m. on June 1.

Organizers said traffic surged as soon as reservations began, causing available seats to be taken quickly. The sold-out announcement applies to the early-bird ticket allocation.

Jang Wonyoung and Ji Chang-wook Lead the Host Lineup

One of the biggest reasons for early interest is the MC lineup.

Jang Wonyoung, known as a member of IVE and one of K-pop’s most recognizable fourth-generation idols, will host the event alongside Ji Chang-wook, a leading Korean actor with strong popularity across Asia.

The combination brings together two different sides of Korean entertainment: idol fandom and drama star power. For international fans, that pairing gives the ceremony broader appeal. Wonyoung represents the current influence of K-pop’s new generation, while Ji Chang-wook brings years of K-drama recognition and global fan support.

The organizing committee said additional MCs will be announced later.

Why AAA 2026 Is Drawing Attention in Taiwan

AAA 2026 will take place over two days at Kaohsiung National Stadium, one of Taiwan’s major large-scale venues.

The event is expected to attract attention from fans across Asia, especially as the Asia Artist Awards is known for combining music and acting categories in one ceremony.

Unlike awards shows that focus only on singers or actors, AAA presents awards to both artists and performers across entertainment fields. That format makes it especially attractive to fans of K-pop idols, K-drama actors, variety stars, and wider Hallyu culture.

Although the early-bird tickets have already sold out, the full artist lineup has not yet been revealed.

The AAA Organizing Committee said participating artists will be announced gradually. That means interest is expected to build further in the coming months as more performers, presenters, and nominees are confirmed. For many fans, early ticket demand suggests that AAA 2026 may become one of the major overseas K-entertainment events of the year.

AAA 2026 Shows the Growing Power of Hallyu Events

The fast sellout of AAA 2026’s early-bird tickets reflects a larger trend in Korean entertainment.

K-pop concerts, fan meetings, drama events, and awards shows are increasingly being held across Asia as demand for Korean stars continues to grow outside Korea.

By bringing the ceremony to Taiwan and placing figures like Jang Wonyoung and Ji Chang-wook at the center of the event, AAA 2026 is positioning itself as more than a domestic awards show. It is becoming a regional Hallyu festival built for global fans.

The full lineup is still to come, but the early response already shows one thing clearly: fans are ready.
