The popular multi-national K-pop girl group UNIS is getting ready to bring a wave of refreshing energy to the international music market by launching their official summer promotions in Japan. According to a formal announcement published by their management agency, F&F Entertainment, on June 18, 2026, the talented 8-member group will officially release their very first Japanese mini-album on July 31, 2026. This upcoming project marks their highly anticipated return to the Japanese music market approximately seven months after dropping their successful Japanese digital single mwah… back in December of last year.

The upcoming Japanese studio record is set to be packed with a total of five diverse tracks that perfectly showcase the group’s signature bright vocal colors and energetic performance styles. To create a highly valuable collectible record for their dedicated global fanbase, the tracklist will seamlessly combine brand-new Japanese summer anthems alongside their previously released, highly popular Japanese original singles:
The eight members plan to aggressively target the major local music charts by treating listeners to a collection of bright, cooling summer songs specifically designed to beat the intense July heat. In celebration of the grand physical album release, F&F Entertainment has finalized plans to host an extensive lineup of local Japanese promotional tours, including high-touch events, media interviews, and special live release showcases to create unforgettable memories directly with their local supporters.

UNIS—which consists of members Jin Hyeon-ju, Nana, Gehlee Dangca, Kotoko, Bang Yun-ha, Elisia, Yoona, and Lim Seo-won—originally formed as a structured 8-member collective back in early 2024 through the highly competitive SBS global television audition program, Universe Ticket. Right from their initial debut, the multi-national group quickly separated themselves from the competition by showing off incredibly stable live vocals, complex synchronized dance routines, and an organic international charm.
Throughout 2026, the young stars have successfully expanded their global footprint across the entire Asian continent. The group recently wrapped up a highly successful concert tour across the Americas alongside packed fan meetings in Japan. Showing their continuous digital power, “Spring Rain,” a beautiful B-side track from their second Korean mini-album SWICY (released in April), recently surged back up public charts to land a coveted spot on YouTube Korea’s Official Daily Popular Music Video chart.
Furthermore, the group recently proved their massive international drawing power by performing as the definitive main stage headliners for the massive “Otaku Pop Fes 2026 in Manila” music festival in the Philippines. Following the grand conclusion of their upcoming Japanese retail promotions this August, the members are officially scheduled to return straight to the recording studio to begin full-scale production on their next major Korean comeback album, ensuring a non-stop, action-packed year for their fans worldwide.
