A Historic Milestone: Their Third Time at No. 1

This latest achievement marks the group’s third time hitting the No. 1 spot on the main US album chart. ATEEZ first conquered the peak back in December 2023 with their second studio album, THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL, and quickly snagged their second crown in June 2024 with GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums of the week in the United States based on physical album sales, Streaming Equivalent Albums (SEA), and Track Equivalent Albums (TEA).

According to Billboard, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5 earned an incredible 228,000 equivalent album units in its debut week.

Breaking Personal Records in the US

With 228,000 units sold, ATEEZ has officially broken their own all-time record for the highest first-week sales in the United States. They effortlessly passed their previous personal record set just five months ago in February 2026 with their 13th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.4, which debuted at No. 3 after selling 195,000 units.

The new record-breaking album captures a fun, wild energy, showing the members playfully enjoying moments where instinct and senses take over. The project features 5 distinct tracks that blend trendy K-pop sounds with heavy Latin music trends, including smooth Latin trap rhythms and intense Brazilian funk beats.

To support the massive global release, ATEEZ recently flew out to New York to make a high-profile guest appearance on NBC’s hit daytime television program The Kelly Clarkson Show. The group completely stunned the American audience and TV executives by delivering a jaw-dropping, high-energy live performance of their smash-hit lead single, “BAD.” Backed by massive physical album demand and non-stop television promotions, ATEEZ continues to safely solidify their place among the absolute giants of modern pop music.
