YG Entertainment to Launch Global Auditions from July to December, Touring 11 Countries Including China, Japan, and the U.S.

YG Entertainment announced on the 22nd that it will hold the ’2026 YG GLOBAL AUDITION’ from July to December. The audition began on the 19th in Beijing, China, and will subsequently visit major Asian cities including Chengdu (July 25), Shanghai (August 1), Shenzhen (August 9), Tokyo, Japan (August 9), and Osaka (September 20). In October, auditions will continue in the United States, Taiwan, and Hong Kong; in November, in Thailand and Canada; and in December, in Australia and New Zealand. This global audition is a large-scale event following the ’2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT’ held in January and February, organized by YG Entertainment to directly search for talent worldwide for the first time in two years. Eligibility is open to anyone born between 2008 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality. Participants can choose one field among singing, rap, dance, and visuals, with acting and special skills added as new categories this time. The methods for pre-registration and on-site registration vary by city, and detailed information such as specific locations and schedules will be announced later through the YG audition website and official SNS channels. Pre-registration is also available via the QR code on the poster. YG Entertainment has produced various global artists including Big Bang, 2NE1, Black Pink, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER.
