Sayuri revealed that she revisited the Kahala Hotel, which she had visited with her family 36 years ago, together with her son Zen. In her message, Sayuri said, ″In 1989, I came to this Kahala Hotel with my family,″ adding, ″I don’t remember much, but I vaguely recall the sky was very beautiful, the sea was very wide, and my grandmother’s hand was warm.″ She continued, ″Now I have become a mother and have come back to this hotel with my son,″ and said, ″The child I was in my childhood is no longer here, but I have become a mother of a child.″ While looking at the sea during the trip, Zen said to Sayuri, ″Mom, you also have a mom. So, you are still a child too,″ and Sayuri added, ″Hearing those words somehow made my heart warm and happy.″ Meanwhile, Sayuri gave birth to her son Zen in 2020 through a Japanese sperm bank.
