2PM Jang Wooyoung, busy schedule with August 'Do Driver' and Incheon concert

2PM member Jang Wooyoung is continuing to actively work in various fields by balancing variety shows and his singing career. Jang Wooyoung has recently stood out in the variety show field by appearing consecutively on the Netflix original variety show ″Do Driver: The Game of Death″ and KBS 2TV’s ″Noona Is My Girl″ Season 2. In the ″Do Driver″ series, he has been a fixed member for five consecutive seasons, from Season 1 ″Finding the Lost Screw″ to the recently concluded Season 5 ″The Game of Death.″ Alongside Hong Jin-kyung, Kim Sook, Jo Se-ho, and Joo Woo-jae, he was praised for adding vitality to the program with his quirky and lively energy as the youngest member. ″Do Driver″ is scheduled to return with its sixth season on August 8. In KBS 2TV’s ″Noona Is My Girl″ Season 2, he joined as a panelist, showcasing his witty speaking skills. His comments that accurately read the participants’ psychology and his immersive presence have drawn viewers’ empathy, playing a supporting role in the show. Besides variety show activities, Jang Wooyoung launched his personal YouTube channel ″Jang Wooyoung″ on the 18th, marking his first solo channel in 19 years since his debut. The channel name is inspired by the Busan dialect, his hometown. In the teaser video, he showed a free-spirited side by painting his face blue and dancing. The first episode, released on the 22nd, attracted attention by showing him interacting with people on the street and contemplating what to do on YouTube. He continues his activities as a singer as well. 2PM will hold a solo concert, ″2026 2PM Concert ’THE RETURN’ in INCHEON,″ at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on August 8 and 9. This concert is the first full-group concert held domestically in about three years since the 15th-anniversary concert in September 2023, and all tickets sold out immediately after sales began. In May, they attracted 85,000 spectators over two days at the 15th-anniversary concert held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
