DAY6 concludes 10th anniversary tour... Young K announces solo comeback after 2 years and 10 months

Day6 officially announced the comeback of member Young K’s second solo full-length album immediately after completing the final performance of their 10th anniversary tour. From the 3rd to the 5th of last month, Day6 held the finale of their 10th anniversary tour, ″The DECADE,″ at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The concert sold out all shows with the full 360-degree seating at KSPO DOME open, proving Day6’s ticket power. This marked the grand finale of the tour, which started last year at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium and covered 16 cities in 10 countries, including Kobe, Japan. At midnight on the 6th, right after the concert ended, Young K released a teaser announcing the release of his second full-length album, ″YOUNGEST.″ This album is his first solo full album in about 2 years and 10 months since his 2023 debut full album, ″Letters with notes.″ The teaser image featured a key engraved with Young K’s face and initials on shattered glass pieces. Since the end of last year, Young K has consistently mentioned the progress of his new solo album through broadcasts and his personal YouTube channel. At the finale concert, he also hinted at his solo comeback, saying, ″There is no bird that will regret the end of ’The DECADE.’ I will keep running. Please love me a lot and beautifully because I will keep running.″ Earlier this year, Wonpil released his first solo mini-album, ″Unpiltered,″ marking his solo activities after about four years. The title track, ″Love Ward,″ ranked number one on major music charts on the day of release, and all the tracks on the album simultaneously entered the charts. His solo concerts were also sold out for all three days. Day6 has laid the foundation for long-term activities through their second contract renewal. At the end of the 10th anniversary tour, the members shared their thoughts: ″Now, as we approach the 11th anniversary, we wanted to prepare well to spend the once-in-a-lifetime 10th anniversary beautifully and without regrets.
