Cortis, Spotify surpasses 1 billion streams, heads to Lollapalooza in the US... highest debut group record in 5 years

CORTIS surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, setting the highest record among boy groups that debuted in the last five years. BigHit Music announced on July 24 that CORTIS’s total streams on Spotify exceeded 1,000,060,000. This figure is the sum of all tracks released so far, including the mini-album 1 ″COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,″ mini-album 2 ″GREENGREEN,″ and the Sony Pictures Animation ″GOAT″ OST ″Mention Me.″ Since their debut last year, CORTIS achieved this with just two albums and a total of 13 songs. After reaching 900 million cumulative streams on July 4, they added 100 million streams in about 20 days, showing a rapid increase. Their monthly listeners on Spotify surpassed 12.7 million, with the largest number of listeners coming from the United States, followed by Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, and Japan. The title track of mini-album 2, ″REDRED,″ recorded 16 million cumulative streams about three months after its release on April 20. Even after the end of broadcast promotions, it continues to stream around 1.4 million times daily. The mini-album 1 track ″GO!″ has been streamed over 216 million times, and ″FaSHioN″ over 198 million times. ″REDRED″ ranked first for 13 consecutive weeks on the latest ″Weekly Top Song Korea″ chart (July 17–23) and appeared on the ″Top Song Global″ chart at weekly rank 119 and daily rank 161 (as of the 24th), marking 13 weeks and 94 days on the charts, respectively. CORTIS will continue their offline performances. They are scheduled to perform at the large music festival ″Lollapalooza Chicago″ in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from July 31 to August 1. Following that, they will hold their first tour, ″2026 CORTIS TOUR ’PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’,″ in six North American cities from August 4 in Toronto, Canada, through August 16. On August 22 and 23, they will hold their first anniversary concert at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. This concert sold out all seats during the presale and will also be streamed online.
