'My Remaining Love' premieres August 3...MC tears up at story reveal, contestants tense

SBS entertainment program ’My Remaining Love’ (directed by Lee Eun-sol) released the preview video for episode 1 on its official SNS channel on the 27th. This program is a dating reality show that captures the process of young adults in their 20s and 30s, who have experienced terminal illness or been on the brink of death, starting life and love again. In the preview video, the cast honestly expressed their first impressions of each other with comments like ″elegant and cute,″ ″clear,″ and ″radiant,″ conveying the excitement of their first meeting. Then, the cast members read their illness diaries aloud, confessing difficult stories such as ″I became a stage 4 cancer patient,″ ″I had a total gastrectomy,″ and ″They said I might come out with one leg amputated.″ A heavy silence filled the studio during this scene. Additionally, realistic questions such as ″Can we date? What about marriage?″ and ″Can we feel love and the emotions of dating?″ appeared, revealing the hardships and pain the cast members have experienced. MC Choi Yena shed tears as the cast comforted each other by sharing their wounds. In the latter part of the preview video, a male cast member standing in the ’Room of Time’ said, ″Actually, I know that person. I wonder if they remember me?″ which surprised the MCs. ’My Remaining Love’ will premiere on August 3rd at 10 PM.
