Seventeen Dokyeom and Seungkwan, 31,000 spectators thrilled at Kaohsiung concert... Sold out all shows, a new record

Main vocal unit members Dokyeom and Seungkwan held the ’DxS [SERENADE] ON STAGE - KAOHSIUNG’ concert at Kaohsiung Arena from July 24 to 26, meeting with over 31,000 spectators. Originally scheduled for only one day, the concert added extra shows due to sold-out tickets, and the additional shows also sold out immediately after ticket sales began. At this concert, Dokyeom and Seungkwan showcased a variety of performances including tracks from their mini album 1st release ’Serenade’ released last January, the unreleased song ’Exhaustion,’ Seventeen group songs, vocal team unit songs, and each member’s solo songs. The three-hour-long concert was structured to focus on the two members’ vocal skills. During the talk segment, different music-related episodes and short live performances were presented each day. The two members also performed OSTs and cover songs they had each released, providing fans with a special time. After the concert, Dokyeom and Seungkwan said, ″Seeing you all happy and smiling brightly makes us happy as well. Thanks to the love from CARAT (the fandom name), we were able to successfully complete this concert.″ They continued, ″All the other members of Seventeen are also spending time growing even more for the team. Please continue to support us a lot and look forward to Seventeen returning with an even more amazing appearance.″ Starting in April in Incheon, Dokyeom and Seungkwan held ’DxS [SERENADE] ON STAGE’ 12 times across five cities domestically and internationally, including Chiba, Daegu, and Macau, with all shows sold out. Combining both online and offline audiences, over 130,000 people attended these performances. The mini album 1st release ’Serenade’ recorded half a million sales on the day of release, ranked number one on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Ranking, number one in the EP category of China’s QQ Music Digital Bestseller Album, and entered the US Billboard 200, the main album chart. The title track ’Blue’ topped major domestic music charts and ranked number one on Spotify’s Daily Viral Songs in major Asian regions including Japan.
