The first cinematic VR concert of &TEAM, ’&TEAM VR Concert: Boundless (&TEAM VR CONCERT: BOUNDLESS)’, has concluded its domestic screenings. ’Boundless’ was exclusively screened at Megabox Hongdae, achieving a 45% reservation share and a perfect 10-point audience rating. Due to audience requests, the originally scheduled end date of July 19 was extended by one week until the 26th. Some fans watched the concert multiple times. This work is the first Japanese-language VR concert produced by AMAZE, a VR concert production and distribution platform company, and was screened simultaneously or sequentially not only in Korea but also in Japan, Taiwan, and Macau. Produced in a 12K resolution VR environment, ’Boundless’ allows the audience to move their gaze directly and choose members, performances, and stage spaces to enjoy. Audience members left comments such as ″It feels like the members are right in front of me″ and ″It’s amazing to be able to freely view every corner of the stage.″ The ability for viewers to focus on different members or stage directions themselves contributed to repeat viewings. Combining cinematic direction with VR technology in the performance video, ’Boundless’ continues its screening schedule in overseas cities even after concluding its domestic run.
