Seventeen Dino's sub-character Pi Cheol-in, mini album 1st release '吉BOARD' title track 'Let's Play' revealed

Seventeen Dino’s alter ego Pi Cheolin has announced an ’Excitement Festival’ that people of all ages can enjoy together. Dino showcased his musical abilities by being credited on all tracks of his first mini-album ’吉BOARD’. Deuce’s Lee Hyun-do and singer-producer BUMZU also participated in this album project. The title track ″Let’s Play (prod. Hitchhiker)″ combines EDM trap sounds with traditional Korean excitement, featuring Hitchhiker, a producer from the band Rollercoaster who has created numerous K-pop hits. This song samples the signature sound from Hitchhiker’s representative track ″10$.″ On July 28, Dino released a challenge video featuring the audio and part of the performance of ″Let’s Play (prod. Hitchhiker)″ through Seventeen’s official SNS. The previously pre-released track ″Crazy Crazy″ challenge gained positive responses with choreography that anyone could easily follow. In the title track’s performance, Dino’s unique control of intensity and Pi Cheolin’s cheerful energy were harmoniously displayed. The intuitive and addictive chorus, sophisticated brass sounds, and unique arrangement using sampling heightened anticipation for the full song. Reactions to the new release continued. The city pop-inspired ″There Is No Goodbye Without Pain (narr. Lee Moon-se)″ ranked 6th on Instagram’s ″Rising Popular Audio,″ while ″Crazy Crazy″ reached 2nd place on YouTube Korea’s ″Daily Popular Music Videos.″ ’吉BOARD’ will be released on August 3 at 6 PM. Teaser videos for the title track will be released on August 1 and 2, respectively. Additionally, from August 21 to 23, the ″2026 Dino X Pi Cheolin [吉BOARD SHOW]″ will be held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, featuring stages with both Dino’s main persona and alter ego Pi Cheolin. Meanwhile, Dino will perform at ″MADLY MEDLEY 2026,″ held on September 6 at the Culture Depot in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This stage marks Dino’s first music festival appearance as a solo artist. Last year, he became the first K-pop artist to perform at the opening ceremony of the Esports World Cup.
