BTS 'NORMAL' re-enters Billboard Hot 100 at No. 33... 'Arirang' also rises to No. 9 on the 200 chart

BTS re-entered the US Billboard main song chart ’Hot 100’ at number 33 with the track ″NORMAL″ from their fifth full-length album ’ARIRANG’. ″NORMAL″ first appeared on the chart at number 41 on the April 4th issue and maintained its position for three consecutive weeks. It re-entered the chart following the release of the music video and Korean version of the song on July 17th. In the latest chart dated August 1st, announced by Billboard on July 28th (local time), ’ARIRANG’ ranked 9th on the main album chart ’Billboard 200’. The album rose 17 spots from the previous week, marking the biggest jump on this week’s chart. It has also remained in the top 10 of the ’Billboard 200’ for a total of 13 weeks, setting the longest-running record for a Korean artist’s album. Billboard reported that sales of ’ARIRANG’ increased by 62% from the previous week, reaching approximately 40,000 units. They analyzed that the performance of ″Dynamite″ during the halftime show of the ’2026 FIFA North America World Cup Final’ on July 19th (local time) positively influenced the rise in ranking. The album also showed remarkable achievements on global charts. ″NORMAL″ ranked 4th on the ’Global 200’ and 2nd on the ’Global (excluding US)’ chart. The title track ″SWIM″ placed 10th and 5th respectively. Additionally, six tracks from the ’ARIRANG’ album, including ″Body to Body,″ ″2.0,″ ″Hooligan,″ and ″FYA,″ have appeared on the ’Global (excluding US)’ chart for 18 consecutive weeks. The new song ″Come Over″ re-entered the chart at number 133, and ″Dynamite″ at number 140. Detailed chart performances also drew attention. ″NORMAL″ ranked first in the ’Digital Song Sales’ category, and ’ARIRANG’ climbed 17 spots from the previous week to reach number 2 on the ’Vinyl Albums’ chart. It also placed 3rd on the ’Top Album Sales’ and 28th on the ’Top Streaming Albums’ charts. The upward trend continued on overseas album charts. On the French music association (SNEP) ’Top Albums’ chart dated July 24th, ’ARIRANG’ rose 13 spots from the previous week to rank 3rd. This record was announced following the ’BTS WORLD TOUR ’ARIRANG’ IN PARIS’ held at Stade de France in Paris on July 17-18. BTS is scheduled to continue their North American tour at MetLife Stadium in New York on August 1st and 2nd.
