Kim Taeyeon, 'Active King of Singers 3' was the toughest... Confesses affection for the youngest trot line

Kim Taeyeon appeared on MBC Radio’s ’Son Taejin’s Trot Radio’ on July 30 and shared various stories. During the broadcast, Kim Taeyeon revealed behind-the-scenes stories related to her first full-length album ’Excitement,’ released last year. She said, ″Since it was my first full album, I immersed myself so much that I only slept two hours a day and still went to school to enhance its completeness. As it is my first album under my name, it contains both the opinions of adults and my own concerns, so I feel even more attached to it.″ Kim Taeyeon also expressed her affection for the ’Strongest Trot Maknae Line,’ formed through ’Active King of Singers 3.’ Referring to Bin Yeseo and Lee Suyeon, she said, ″During the past competition, I received a lot of love and guidance from the older sisters, but now that I am in the position of an older sister, I understand their feelings from before. Especially Suyeon is so cute and lovely that she looks like a baby.″ Recently, Kim Taeyeon shared updates typical of a teenage student, such as visiting her countryside home and Gyeongju during the vacation. Having grown through several competition programs, she cited ’Active King of Singers 3’ as her most challenging experience, saying, ″It was a time when I personally felt and deeply understood the meaning of the expression ’a feeling of blood drying up.’″ At the end of the broadcast, she passionately sang ’Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet,’ capturing the emotions of a teenager, and showcased her musical versatility by performing Kim Soohee’s ’Danhyeon’ and a passage from the pansori Sugungga, blending trot and traditional Korean music.
