In episode 368 of KBS 2TV variety show ’The Boss Has Donkey Ears,’ the family home where Jun Hyun-moo lived during his rookie announcer days was revealed through archival footage. On this episode, Kim Sook expressed surprise upon seeing the revealed room, saying, ″Is this really a room?″ Jun Hyun-moo said, ″That room still exists. It’s the family home. My mother hasn’t changed my room, so it’s almost the same.″ The revealed space included a desktop where Jun Hyun-moo prepared variety show scripts and childhood photos, showing that he made efforts to manage even during his rookie days. When Kim Sook asked Jun Hyun-moo his age, he replied, ″About thirty,″ and said, ″There is too much material to erase at KBS.″ In response, Kim Sook advised, ″You have to earn a lot of money. You need to buy all of that.″ Meanwhile, the apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Jun Hyun-moo currently resides, was reportedly sold for 6.1 billion won last August.
