Jo Hye-ryun shared recent updates about her daughter. On the channel ″Lee Sung-mi’s Can’t Go,″ Jo Hye-ryun explained that her daughter attended a prestigious high school in Korea but dropped out and, contemplating her own happiness, went abroad to study at an international school in the United States. However, she revealed that due to COVID-19, her daughter returned to Korea. After returning, her daughter seemed influenced by local students in the U.S. who become independent after graduating from high school and said she wanted to earn money herself. Jo Hye-ryun said her daughter worked part-time at a convenience store, expressed her intention not to return to the U.S., and later prepared for a transfer exam and was accepted to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Currently, Jo Hye-ryun’s daughter lives near the school and earns living expenses through tutoring and other means. Meanwhile, Jo Hye-ryun debuted in 1992 on KBS’s College Gag Show and has been active in various fields including variety programs such as ″Three Wheels,″ ″Kick a Goal, Girls,″ and ″Yeo Girl Six,″ as well as singing, musicals, and theater.
