TWS releases 2nd Japanese single album 'SODA SODA'...enters Line Music chart

TWS (Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) released their second single album ’SODA SODA’ in Japan at midnight on August 4 through various music streaming sites. This album includes a total of three songs: the title track ’SODA SODA’, ’Palm Tree’, and the Japanese version of the mini-album 2 title track ’If I am S, You Be My N’. The title track ’SODA SODA’ expresses feelings toward someone that burst out like carbonation. Kyungmin, Youngjae, and Jihoon participated in composing this song. The title track, which was pre-released three days earlier, entered the real-time ’Song Top 100’ chart on Japan’s Line Music. To celebrate the single release, TWS held a showcase in Tokyo, Japan on the 3rd, where they performed ’SODA SODA’ for the first time. The performance included a motion of shaking a Ramune bottle, a representative Japanese carbonated drink, which received enthusiastic responses from local fans. Additionally, the fresh city pop sound combined with a powerful performance led the atmosphere of the venue. The members said, ″We are very excited to see 42 (the fandom name) again. We hope you enjoy a refreshing summer with TWS,″ and added, ″We have been waiting for the moment to make eye contact and sing with the 42s on stage. We want to create a summer festival-like time together.″ TWS is scheduled to appear on Fuji TV’s music program ’STAR’ starting on the 6th, perform at the ’Mezamashi WANGAN Festival’ on the 7th, and take the stage at ’Summer Sonic 2026’ on the 14th and 16th. They also plan to hold their solo concert ’24/7:FOR:YOU IN’ in Fukuoka from August 28 to 30, Hyogo from September 4 to 6, and Kanagawa on the 12th and 13th.
