Big Bang unveils logo motion for 20th anniversary world tour... sold out all seats for the first time in 9 years

On the 4th, YG Entertainment officially revealed the logo motion announcing the start of BIGBANG’s world tour commemorating their 20th debut anniversary through their official SNS. The newly unveiled ’BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >’ logo motion video features a production combining the trajectory of light cutting through pitch-black darkness and heavy sound, delivering an immersive experience reminiscent of a sci-fi movie trailer. The intricately interlocked infinity (∞) shape, tangled like a skein, is praised for realizing the order of the vast universe with a sensuous visual aesthetic. The logo design simultaneously incorporates the number ’20,’ symbolizing the 20th anniversary, and the meaning of infinite expansion. Added to this is ’COSMOS,’ representing connection, relationship, and continuity, completing a single worldview that embodies the bond BIGBANG and their fans have built over 20 years and the new journey they will continue together. BIGBANG has set various records, including expanding the radius of K-pop tours worldwide with ’ALIVE GALAXY,’ attracting 1.5 million attendees for the largest audience in a single K-pop artist tour, being the first overseas artist to hold a six-dome tour in Japan and performing dome tours for five consecutive years, holding the largest audience and most city performances in China (250,000 attendees in 13 cities), and conducting the largest-scale North American tour. This world tour, held for the first time in about nine years, will showcase an evolved stage based on BIGBANG’s accumulated musical capabilities and performance expertise as they celebrate their 20th anniversary. ’BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >’ will kick off from the 21st to the 23rd over three days at Goyang Sports Complex as ’BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > IN GOYANG with Coupang Play.’ All three shows, including additional seats, were sold out. The tour will span 33 shows across 19 cities, with additional locations to be announced later.
